Rookie here - I inherited a kt100 and I kept it for about 5 years. I want to fix and run it next summer. The original owner welded the shaft with an allen bolt. I got the bolt out using a dremel, can someone tell me how to withdraw the shaft & the wet clutch so I can replace it with dry clutch. When I got the allen bolt out, there is a hole inside the shaft and I don't know if there is a thread inside and to use some kind of clutch puller. Pls help....thank you imageshack.us/photo/my-images/812/kt100.jpg/

But looking at the starter shaft (nut), how come there is no allen hole so I can start the engine?

The starter nut in the picture has the allen head on the away side. This clutch will most certainly work, although most kt guys are running 2 disks, and some single discs (less rotating weight). I'd recommend the 2 disc, but if you can get a deal on the three disc it'll work just fine, just a little heavy.

Oh, I see....now i know----thanks you. I'm excited to fix and run the kart. The Kt abandoned for 5 years at the barn. My parents has a house near key largo, i would like to fix/ship the kart there....it's near the miami speedway. They have a large kart facility and track.
