Okay, I have a few questions that I have been unable to find answers to elsewhere.
I'm looking at a couple options for getting back into the sport after a long few years away!
1. Are there any fees applicable in addition to the club membership, and race/practice fees? (In Canada we have to pay for a license, and some other bs before we race)
2. Is leasing a pit stall mandatory, or if I am not picky, can I just take what is available for that particular weekend?
3. Is drilling/lock wiring everything on the kart required? According to IKF nylock is sufficient, but I've raced enough to know clubs sometimes do their own things, (and I'm not a fan of the sliced up hands that come with working on a kart with pseudo barb wire bombs all over it for a weekend)
4. Is there a CRG dealer (not necessarily specifically CRG, but somewhere I can get CRG parts) that supports the club races?
5. Is there a dealer who offers storage for the season, as I'm I the Okanagan, and don't necessarily fancy hauling all my stuff down and back 7 to 9 times a year?
6. Are there any hotels the club has a preferred rate with?
7. Is on-site camping allowed (especially on the night race weekends)?
