I recently purchased a 2006 Invader kart with a PRD engine. I've looked everywhere and can’t find what my temperature should be. The person I bought it from told me it runs 190-200, and that is what it’s showing on the track, but it seems high.

Tim,
If you're talking water temp, it should run around 130-150. If you're running a head temp (under the spark plug) it will be higher than that, and your temps may be close.

Thanks Rick,
I believe the micron in reading the Head Temp. Still trying to understand all the electronics. Also, what is a good lube to use on the clutch bearing. I understand they need to be lubed every race/practice.

Honestly I just spray chain lube in them and they're fine. It is best to take them apart and actually use grease every couple races though.

Racing under the lights is truly a great experience. If you haven't done it yet.... you will want to. I can't think of very many tracks, if any, who have put the time and efforts into a track as much as this Board of Directors, City of Richland and various members have put in this track. They really strive for the "Cut Above" status. And just think..... This is only the beginning. :-)

Ok, well I'd start with an 83t sprocket. That is if you have a 11t front sprocket which is standard.
