My brother Johnny just got his little boy a kid kart. Just read some forums and they are suggesting a 8oz per gallon. Is this correct? Also some forums are saying use castor oil and not synthetic, why not synthetic? Jetting would love to hear some suggestions. Also some good feedback ideas on any other topic that has to deal with kid karts would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

I've been told everything under the sun. I've personally tried as little as 2 1/2 oz (Don't try this at home) and as much as 10 oz of burris hi rev castor oil. Noticed very little diffence to be honest. When it is cold the high oil content "bogged" the motor down on the starts but ran fine once up to speed. I personally run 6 oz. I was told (I'm not expert, just get info from people that know stuff) that the castor builds up carbon on the piston and helps the motor build heat and reduce compression. Jetting depends on the motor and air filter. Is the motor blueprinted? What air filter are you running?
