Glad to hear you liked the combo. What rear tires did you have on, 6.0's or 7.10's?

steve ran on saturday, in the main he ran a 43.1, with 6.0s on. I assume we will be in the 42s easy with 7.10s and possibly in the summer 41s. they ran yamaha with f200 and steve finished 2nd overall, it was some pretty good racing. i think i maybe out at the next goldcup running the yamaha it would be really cool if we could get more yamahas out for the next goldcup

You KT guys need to get together at the 1st club race and plan on making the next G/C. If enough of you show up they will give you your own race.

I was actually excited to run with the f200s. Lets see how many KTs show up for the club race and then hopefully they will run atleast the next GC. I know we will be losing some KT guys this year but I think we are gaining some also. I am excited about the tires and pipe for this class looks like a great package.

Friday is just a practice day. The normal 2 cycle format is 2 day, qualify and heat 1 on Sat, heat 2 and main on Sun. I can only assume that this is how it would work if KTs had their own class but I cannot say for sure.
Steve ran on Sat because he ran with the F200s who only ran on Sat.

From what I could find, it looks like the smallest class that ran alone (not combined with another class) had 4 karts in it. But I'm sure you KT guys can do better than that...I would also suggest posting on some of the other clubs forums and get some of the outta town guys to show up.

Not sure which IKF rule it is or was, but it used to state that as long as there were 3 karts you can run alone. That class also gets a punch for nationals. The region usually determines what they need to make the class a championship class, so I am not sure about that. Although I would say with 3 or more we would be safe getting our own class. 4 karts were at the july 4th goldcup which had KT and they ran alone from what I know and saw on the mylaps.

It was really fun having steve and Jerry running with us at the Gold Cup, I would think rather than making a class out of 3 or 4 karts and running by yourself, talk to Bill Hettick and see if all of you guys can run with us in the F200 class... The other guys in the class I talked to kind of looked at the GC race as just a practice weekend to get a punch anyways, and didn't take it too intensely, so if its OK with the other F200 guys (and girl) I'd say the more the merrier! Come play with us guys! It'll be fun! -Brett
