Just noticed the 2010 track records have been posted, Congrats to Britt for holding both track records. I think we should keep the same plan this year Britt, you can have the track records and I will take the Championship. Now that we have that settled I need to go talk to the other 20 cloners and let them know the plan ;D ;D

Yep, good luck with that plan Stan. Plus, those lap times were being easily shattered on a consistent basis by some newcomers at practice Saturday, so they aren't going to last past the first race weekend.

1st of all, thanks very very much - Randy and Eric. (not sure if they are on here) I broke a header after my 1st 5 laps ever in a kart and was completely bummed. They lent me a header since it was my 1st day and I just want to thank all you guys. I really appreciated it. What a KICK-IN-THE-****! That was the most fun I've had EVER. I was laughing hysterically a couple of times after I spun. I'm still pumped about it. I was so worn out at the end of the day. I slept like my 8-month-old last night. Sim-Racing vs The Real Thing, I'm not sure how many of you guys have done any serious sim-racing. (not video games, but realistic simulation) But I'm a big sim-racing junky on the computer and PS3. ( I have a full cockpit with a wheel and pedals setup in my garage). I was very curious to compare sim-racing with the real deal. I can honestly say some of the sims out there are very realistic. Getting the kart rotated in the corners, smooth braking, throttle control is spot-on, on some of the sims like Gran Turismo 5, and Iracing. It helped me a great deal yesterday. The biggest thing was getting used to the actual speed and gforces of the kart. It's definitely different but share many of the same aspects as well. I was the victim of cold tires a few times too, but overall I felt pretty good after getting comfortable with my kart. I hope I didn't do anything wrong yesterday. I'm just trying to fit in. I know I spun right in front of a couple of guys yesterday and felt stupid. LOL Anyways it would be cool to put names with some of the users on here. I'm Rob, the guy with the Yellow and Black Trackmagic Clone. What's your real name rocketshoes? Who else was out there yesterday?

What's your real name rocketshoes? Who else was out there yesterday? My name is Jim Nasium, but most people call me by my birth name, Britt... ;D Ok, all kidding aside, I was only at the track for a short time as a spectator Saturday. But I was there long enough to time a couple of the new guys laps and see that there has been significant improvement over the winter. Glad to hear you had fun, Rob. It's almost a sure bet that if you ask another Clone racer for help you'll get more help than you asked for. Not many guys hold back on the generosity.

So JIM , What kind of times are the clones running now? Are they lower than 45 Sec. ? How many Clones were there this weekend? Are we still figuring about 20 for the first race?

I didn't get an accurate kart count, but I bet there were about 13-14. Think I saw 12 on the track at one time and I know there was at least one in the pits. 20 is not going to be a problem for the first race. Trust me...
As for the times, I'm going to hold off on commenting until I have further data.
