Just kind of curious about what people are doing for classes next year? Who's stepping up, new engine or kart? What kind? Myself personally am getting a rotax to run at Gold Cup and at club I'd like to afford a PRD, but that is yet to be determined. Lol, Hope to see some class growth this year!

I'm not sure who reads these besides the same Twigs everday anyways, but I would like to get the Jr parents on the same page. I've talked to a few parents and it seems we got 4 Jr 1's (Trey,Daytona,Gavin, ....) and 3 PRD/Micromax's confirmed(Trey,Garret,Riley). We are on the fence. I've thought I commited to the Rotax package but if the numbers are more dominant in the JR 1 class we might do that. My dilemma - if I put an animal on my sons kart then that leaves me finacially a chance to race myself, but I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.

For what it's worth, I feel that the Jr1 animal package is the best package as far as driver development and cost are concerned. It teaches the driver to be smooth while still being aggressive. And the cost issue speaks for itself, while I do like the Rotax package, you can build 2-3 complete animal motors for the cost of 1 Rotax package. Then when you start to get into rebuild costs, holy smokes...

Race the shifter as much as I can but the fact my wife is due the end of march with our first child makes me question how much racing I'm gonna do. I should be able to make most races I think.

I plan on running some world formula and/or animal in preparation for 4 cycle nationals. Also, hopefully I can run some yamaha and modified shifter until those karts are sold It should be another fun year!

World Formula for sure, maybe a clone or animal also just for some more fun! How many of our club members are planning to run Gold Cup and 4 cycle nats?

Going shifter for gold cup, PRD likely for club when I can afford it, and 4 cycle nats is a maybe... We'll see.

Probably clone and WF, maybe some Rotax. I might drive at both Gold Cups.
