This weekend i had the pleasure to drop in on a kart track in Denver, CO. It was a decent looking track, nothing special but most definitely raceable, sorry no pics. It was a practice day, and also rental kart stuff going on, wasn't too busy. What really surprised me is that in talking one of the head guys i learned that they don't really have much organized racing at that track or in the region. Sometimes a group of guys will get together and run together, but actual events are slim. It made me appreciate the support we have here in our region(especially our track) for karting. It's very easy to take it for granted. Just thought i'd share that with you guys.

Hey Ricky, is that the one that is just to the northwest of the city as you head out of town?

No its to the southwest. Next to a drag strip. Just south of I-70.

So, did you at least wave at the kart track in Grand Junction when you drove by on I-70?

It's like 300' off the highway, sheesh... Although in your defense, it does sit up higher than the road. maps.google.com/maps?q=Grand+Junction,+CO&hl=en&ll=39.107984,-108.492715&spn=0.004939,0.004823&sll=47.272986,-120.882277&sspn=6.254381,9.876709&oq=grand+j&t=h&hnear=Grand+Junction,+Mesa,+Colorado&z=18
