As a club we do follow RMCS rules for our club races. With that being said we will not be super sticky and technical like an official Rotax Max Challenge race (CIK axle thickness ect ect ect…). Our main concern will be that everybody is running a motor that has been sealed by an authorized builder (pre ’09 or “Legacy” motors have always been allowed), that each racer has their “passport” available if we need to see it, and that each class is on the correct tire as specified by RMCS. As in the past rain tires are open, I can’t even remember the last time we had a rain race. We also do not specify what oil you run but I would suggest a high quality synthetic brand.
Also for club events we will not require our racers to update or convert their carbs to the current specifications. As long as they are running the correct Rotax carb it is ok.
As in the past the Micro and Mini spec gear rule will be enforced.
I posted these links so that our racers could be informed of what the Rotax rules require. There are really no changes for TCKC from last year except for the tire rules in some classes. Our goal is to make TCKC a fun, enjoyable and fair place to race without having to spend a ton of money.
I know I didn’t cover everything so if you have any questions please contact a board member and we will get things clarified for you. We want our racers at the track and not sitting at home.
But as always, ALL safety rules will be strictly enforced.
