We used to run at 385# and had a large group all running together. Any thoughts from the Rotax racers on running everyone at 385# again??? Kurt

I would have loved to run in a large group like we used to have. When i was racing rotax, 2007, We had like 5 guys and ever sence then it was a drag, but i would have LOVED to race against Clayton and Kurt and the "Masters".... Im sure it would cut down on the schdule and cost and it might grow a bit like the Yamaha did

Im not sure how many Rotax races I'm going to run this year, but International and Masters running together sounds good to me. Last year was fun with JR, international, and Masters together because it had more than a couple people together, but it would be cool to be all at the same weight. (besides JR). What do to the guys that run gold cup in International think? Would it be a problem running heavier than what you race Gold Cup at?

I am all for the one class at 385. I think that the larger we can make the class the more exciting it will be for more people to join.

You know the board can change the rules because of finical and safety... One, It would make the day go by faster, two, could and prolly will get more ppl to join the class, which brings more members, and three, all the rotax drivers but Petty's but they only race a few times last year, all agree... so TCKC Board, You guys should vote and vote yes to a new 185 class  |

I also think this would be great. To make it official we need to call or contact all rotax drivers that will be competing in our club if there are no issues it should be no problem.

so TCKC Board, You guys should vote and vote yes to a new 185 class There's no way I can make 185... Lil' Artie might be able to though!! ;D ;D He has about 185lbs of lead on his whip...Picking his kart up and down at Stars races about 75 times is a marathon in itself!! |

How about Sam Jones and the rest of the boys? Weigh in with your thoughts. We could have a really big field and all-comers will be able to run with us with a plus or minus 20 lbs on their current set-up.... KF

It sounds alright to me. When the class was at 385 there was a better turn out. More racers=more fun

I know this is kinda off topic, but what does it take to get a class like F200 to be a regional class? Its a BADA$$ class, it would be fun to run it at some other tracks too. Is it quite a process? Im trying to get it put together so Deven can race club @ the 385 weight for rotax. If the funds fall in place we would love to race with Kurt, Clayton, Joey, Artie, im probably forgetting someone? great practic for the max races. I dont no about that F200 idea, You buy a rotax first, lol.

I talked to Clayton and Kurt this weekend about me dragging out Ryan's Leopard and running at 385 - I'll probably be more like 405! It now looks like the Leopards are at a disadvantage to the Rotax at our track, so I'm probably not much of a threat. Let me run the Mojos and I'm in! Also heard of another hot shoe from the past that is coming out of retirement for this class!
