Actually we have been talking to SKRA about a mini series between them and TCKC. Our racers would go up there for the July 18 & 19 weekend doubleheader and their racers would come down here for our doubleheader weekend Oct 10 & 11. We will post info as soon as we know more.

I did talk to randy at SKRA and he did confirm everything was fine and we could get member prices. The 18th-19th is a points race for them. I was thinking maybe we should just try to get everyone here at TCKC for the non points race, that way nobodys championship is messed up.
The timing of the 18th-19th seems a bit hard for some people, you got july 4 th, our 5th race and then to spokane.
I will bounce the idea off the guys in montana and see if they are willing, and hopefully we can get them member pricing for driving 5 hours to race with us.

I don't think SKRA has a problem with 2 cycles. Look at their points page. They have a Kid Kart class, a Tag class & a 125 Shifter class. 3 of their 6 classes are 2 cycle. 50-50 seems pretty even to me.

We went and raced in Spokane several times last year and had a blast everytime. At one race we were even loaned a motor, and they reset the grid order so me could make the main. They are a great bunch of people working very hard to turn their club around, and are doing a very good job of it. Let's help to support their efforts. We have been considering attending the July 18th, Aug 8th, and Labor Day weekend races since the beginning of the season as they do not conflict with TCKC or Gold Cup. Hope to see as many of the Tri-City club members as possible go to the race. History showes that attending 3 to 4 races at other facilities will take you from mid pack at club, to the front pack.

Matt,
Thanks for your help in trying to get some folks interested in coming over to Spokane the 18th&19th. Scheduling is tight for all of us, we'll do the best we can. I think we have 4, possibly 5 Kt's and a hand full of drivers in other classes making the 6 hour drive for the weekend. Sounds like there may be a couple KT drivers from 'psgka' coming over as well. Hope we get a chance to meet a few of you guys there for a couple days of racing. Have a good 4th, Aaron - Montana Karting Association
