First off, As per IKF the full width rear bumper rule has been delayed until Jan. 1, 2011. This rule change was put into effect because of the cost of the aftermarket bumpers and today's economy. The TCKC Board does still HIGHLY recommend the use of a full width bumper on all classes as there were several accidents that could have been avoided if one had been in place.
Also in the same meeting, the IKF Directors decided to delay the implementation of the new helmets. So your Snell 2000 helmets will be able to be used until Dec. 31, 2010. This decision was made because of the new specs and testing procedures the are being implemented by SFI and the Snell foundation.
