As many of you know, the election of the 2010 BoD did not go as planned. Issues arose that we never could have imagined possible. As a Board of dedicated volunteers, we are disappointed but remain focused on getting this resolved and moving forward. In an effort to find resolution, we have met and considered all our options. We turned to the By-Laws of our Corporation for direction. They provide the general guidelines for the day to day operations of the Club. As you can guess, there was no specific protocol for this situation. We had to make a tough choice with the realization that the result may not seem fair or just to everyone, but know that we have done our best. To that end, we have decided to leave the Board as is with the 3 current members retaining their positions. The 3 “new” people on the ballot will become our Alternates. We will caution everyone from jumping to conclusions or assuming certain facts, but instead will encourage you to contact any Board member directly with questions or suggestions. We appreciate your patience and, as always, are grateful for all the support.
