Saturday night we will be having our big complimentary BBQ with Doug Root doing the cooking again! We will have his famous pulled pork, BBQ chicken, Hot dogs for the kids, BBQ beans, and coleslaw. So stick around after the racing and chow down.

This was my second gold cup that I have been too. Again I had a great experience running with the 4 cycle Briggs animal heavy class. I came out of this GC with some extra knowledge from some of these old vet racers that I see as the best of the best. I may have finished forth this weekend but with the experience and things I learned I felt like I did better than that. I am sure their are more that feel the same since we had some awesome close battle racing this weekend.
In the heat race I was following Brett Lucas around the track in a very tight pack of the top 4. Talk about extra concentration just to stay up with those guys. To just finish up, I want to thank all of you on the board and the members that put in all that hard labor to help out our club get ready for this first race and for nationals. Excellent job everyone one. I am sure the club will still need your help thoughout the year to keep this track the best track in the northwest.
