ok, so i cant speak for anyone else, but i had a blast doing the backwards race on sunday. I propose we run it that way during the season as a points race just to throw something into the mix. Maybe twice a season, once short, and once long track. There are a couple things to be worked out, but nothing that's not manageable. We did it sunday with a ridiculous amount of karts, so i know it can be done. Thoughts?

I agree, it was a lot of fun and it wasn't even completely dry.

I can see the starts being a bit testy if you ran the short course backwards. Not much time between the exit of the turn and the start/finish line. The long course would probably be better.

I think for safety reasons, starting the race closer to the chicane like we did at the pumpkin race would be necessary. Then the race would end at the normal start/finish line. They did the same thing for the WF class at nationals due to the number of karts and not wanting too many karts going too fast into turn 1 and having a huge pileup.
