This season, three of karting’s biggest prizes of the year will be awarded to the SIMA Winter/Summer series class champions. Up for grabs will be three all inclusive (excludes food and drink) trips to Lyon, France at the Circuit Lavelant in October to represent their respective countries courtesy of Italian Motors USA, SIMA and IAME. In order to be eligible for the grand prizes, participants must race in either IAME Sr, IAME Jr. or Tag Masters. The class must have a minimum of 10 entries per race on average at the end of the series and eligible participants must be powered by a Leopard, Dragon or X30. The SIMA Winter and Summer series points will count towards the overall championship with two throw away races being permitted. New to SIMA this year will be the SIMA Enduro that will take place later in the year. Points from this race will not count towards the overall championship; however two entries will be awarded to the race winning team. Drivers on any TAG approved package for this race (See approved engine list) will be eligible for this prize. More details will follow soon.
